“Outsider” by Photographer Khoogj
Khoo Guo Jie, also known as Khoogj, is a photographer based in Singapore who primarily specializes in architectural photography.
However, his "Outsider" project deviates from his formal work, drawing inspiration from various media such as films by Hiroshi Teshigahara and writings by Kobo Abe, Liu Yichang, and Albert Camus. The project represents a freeform response to his professional work, exploring the surrealistic and absurd nature of how we seek meaning through rituals like conforming to a herd mentality to belong to a 'tribe.'
