Migos. 'Culture III'
After a lengthy delay, Migos has finally released their highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Culture III.
Clocking in at an hour and 15 minutes, the 19-track record features a slew of guest appearances from NBA YoungBoy on the 2020 single “Need It,” Pop Smoke on “Light It Up,” Juice WRLD on “Antisocial,” Justin Bieber on “What You See,” Future on “Picasso,” Polo G— who is also releasing his album Hall of Fame on the same day — on “Malibu,” Cardi B on “Type Shit” and Drake on “Having Our Way.’ Culture III is the group’s first release together since its 2018 predecessor, and although the individual skills they honed during the creation of their solo records (which were all released after Culture II) are strongly at play here, fans of the early sound will be pleased to hear that their original influences are still weaved into the more modern techniques the trio has grown into. It’s only fitting that this album serves as the culmination of Takeoff, Quavo and Offset‘s Culture trilogy and listeners should keep their eyes peeled for what’s to come.
