"Me, Myself & I" – A photo exhibition by Stephanie Chianda at Blank Wall Gallery
Kenyan artist, Stephanie Chianda, is hosted from February 3 to 15 at Blank Wall Gallery. This is Stephanie Chianda's first solo exhibition which uses self-portraiture as a means of human reconnection and a communal language in everyday life. Presents a series of works with photography, digital drawings and video installation.
The exhibition's title is directly related to the artist's reality at all levels and, of course, to the loneliness that emerged more strongly during the pandemic.
Stephanie Chianda's primary profession is as a doctor specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology. At the same time, during the pandemic period, when she was on the front line, she started using digital media much more for her projects.
The exhibition invites viewers to see themselves in the images and to ask themselves, through a reflective process, how they were affected by the pandemic.
