Athens Fashion Week
Athens Fashion Week is organized in Athens and aims to promote Greek fashion designers in Greece and abroad. The event takes place every year, and for the next season, it is scheduled to take place at The Ellinikon Experience Park from June 8 to 12.
This year's 32nd Athens Fashion Week seems to be a commish-renewed summer mood, and several surprises are expected for its visitors.
Fashion Week parades and events offer a unique opportunity to discover the latest fashion trends and be inspired by designers' creativity. In addition, the Xclusive Elements space provides the chance to get to know top Greek accessory creators up close and to acquire unique fashion accessories at exceptional prices.
On the first day of the 32nd Fashion Week, the designers: Angelos Bratis, Chara Lebessi, Dassios, Denise Eleftheriou, Dimitris Petrou, Ioanna Kourbela, Kathy Heyndels, Konstantinos Tsigaros, Liana Camba, Maison Faliakos, Parthenis, Sotiris Georgiou, Vassilis Zoulias, Yorgos Eleftheriades, will present an impressive installation, while this season, the participating fashion designers are: Angelos Bratis, Chara Lebessi, Celebrity Skin, Daphne Valente, Dassios, Irene Angelopoulos, Kathy Heyndels & Marios Togos, MIRO, Konstantinos Tsigaros, Paris Valtadoros, Parthenis, Vlassi Holeva and the brand: Ethical Ode.
The designers who will present their creations to the jury for the first time, vying for the Best New Designer, Best Trendsetter and Best Catwalk awards are Atinati, Blue by Pavlos Kyrkos, Eirini Jerasovich, Georgia Chioni, SL Giannopoulos, Sougaree.
Athens Fashion Week is also committed to supporting social programs, and this time, it is working with the global non-profit organization we4all, which deals with environmental and humanitarian issues. In addition, part of the proceeds from the event's tickets will be allocated for reforestation and tree planting in affected areas of Greece.
